This monument of Propaganda, called the US Holocaust Memorial Museum is once again the center of a power struggle among the several factions that constitute the political community of the American Jews, or, as some people say, the Jewish lobby. Its directors, feeling secure about their tight grip on federal money, dream of a pivotal role in world affairs. They want to expand: "The Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies,[...] is a growing section of the organization, and officials have planned for the facility to become a worldwide research institute. Miles Lerman, chairman of the council, has described a grave need for new scholars in the field and wants the center to be a catalyst for future study. Already the center has gathered research materials that are hardly available anywhere else in the world, including long-classified documents from the International Red Cross and Russia's Federal Security Service (formerly the KGB)." (The Washington Post, 18 June 1998).
These remarks are interesting in the light of the claim, made since twenty years, by the Holocaust Revisionists that classified documents of German origin, in the custody of the International Red Cross (in Arolsen, Germany) and in the Soviet archives would allow, if properly studied, to reveal the real magnitude of Jewish losses during WW II, which they guesstimates somewhere between one and three million, a far cry form the figures held as taboo by the Jewish organizations today. These real figures, if and when they are established, will severely puncture the Jewish Claims System, which is now milking Switzerland, after so many other troves.
The need for serious scholars is then understandable: from the point of view of the US Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM), this probably means the need to doctor the evidences, and maintain the documentary datas out of reach from the unorthodox and unauthorized researchers. In other words, the prime quality of future Museum scholars are the political reliability and the security of their tight mouths.
We just have had a blatant exemple of the cynical constraints in choosing the right people. To head the new outfit with a pompous and deceptive name of "Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies", the board of the USHMM had elected a "John K. Roth, Chairman of the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Claremont-McKenna College in Claremont, California. The son of a Presbyterian minister and a deeply committed Christian, Roth has devoted himself to Holocaust studies since reading the writings of Elie Wiesel in 1972. This led to his first book, The Consuming Fire, a widely-praised theological reflection on the works of Wiesel." (colleague Richard Rubenstein, in a H-Holocaust op-ed, 18 June) Think of it! The guy is a Christian! He has been converted to Holocaustism by no one else than the Great Inventor Wiesel himself, the one who elected to follow the Germans in January 1945, at Auschwitz, rather than staying to wait for the Soviet liberators... Someone who is accepting as a basis for his own works the woolla-moolla concocted by Wiesel must be a gullible newborn as naive and remote as the Scandinavian forest-dwellers who gave Elisha Wiesel the Nobel prize...
Roth's friends describe his achievements in this way : "He is the author or editor of more than twenty books on the Holocaust, American Studies, philosophy and ethics. He has served as the book review editor of The Journal of Holocaust Studies published by Yad Vashem, Israel's preeminent Holocaust memorial and research institution. In 1992, out of a field of several hundred scholars each nominated by their own college or university, the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of College Teaching named him United States College Professor of the Year. He has taught as a Fullbright Fellow in Austria and Norway and has served as a Visiting Professor of Holocaust Studies at the University of Haifa in Israel. He has done perhaps more than any other scholar to unite Christians and Jews in a reconciling understanding of the Holocaust."
In other words, this guy Roth is the perfect stooge needed by the Jewish establishment to create a feeling of submission in the Christian world, a willing puppet of the type cherished by any dictatorship.
But that was not enough: "Roth's problems began when Morton Klein, president of the Zionist Organization of America (ZOA), attacked him in a press release dated June 5th, 1998, for an article he wrote in the Los Angeles Times in November 1988, while teaching in Israel. At the time, Roth was concerned with hard-line Israeli ultra-nationalists, especially the Moledet party, who were advocating the "population transfer" of Palestinians from the occupied territories to Arab countries. He wrote that such a policy would be like the Nazi policy that led to Kristallnacht." (Id ) Zionist leader Klein demanded that Roth apologize for having "blackened Israel's name and desecrated the memory of the six million." In case of need, you should immediately jump on the 6 million wagon...
What then does the Wieselian larva? Immediately apologize and kiss the hand which is slapping him. He wrote to Forward, a prominent Jewish weekly: "If I could erase any item from my professional record, it would be the opinion piece I wrote ten years ago for the Los Angeles Times. I apologize for and would retract that essay because it created the impression...that I 'once likened Israel's treatment of the Palestinian Arabs to Nazi Germany's treatment of the European Jews'.... Any such comparison would be historically inaccurate and morally outrageous, and furthermore, would be a repudiation of my own studies and life experiences... My concern for the safety and security of Israel runs deep... It is simply absurd to think that I would ever do anything that special country or to diminish the memory of the Six Million." (The Forward, 12 June, 1998)
A host of other self-appointed "Holocaust specialists" ran to his support, including Yehuda Bauer, Michael Berenbaum and "leading theologians" and rabbis, otherwise known mostly for the smallness of their intellectual achievements in the maintenance of the central faith. "Poor Old Debbie" Lipstadt said: "To misrepresent [Roth's] article is outrageous. To destroy 30 years of a man's reputation on the basis of one article is worse." (The New York Jewish Week, early June) She has attempted to destroy so many scholars' reputation in hers books! The funniest part of this comedy was given, as usual to Abraham Foxman, National Director of the Anti-Defamation League, who declared that he disagreed with Roth's use of the Holocaust analogy but characterized some of Roth's opponents as "Jewish thought police." Just like Hitler complaining about the Gestapo!!!
Two congressmen (Rep.) entered the fry. "In an interview yesterday, Forbes (Rep. N.-Y.) said he would be looking closely at the funding the museum receives from Congress, which provides about 60 percent of its budget. He said he was worried about Roth's potential influence on future scholarship." (Washington Post, 16 June)
The Holocaust profiteers were in a state of shock, as it transpires from an opinion posted on H-Holocaust by DG Myers, a Texas university racketeer, quoting John P. Fox (see below): "In this vein he is very much the intellectual cousin of Richard Finkelstein, who listened to the back-and-forth over Roth's appointment and immediately thought of Daniel Goldhagen: 'I think the organized Jewish community, who tried to unpersuasively prop up Mr. Goldhagen, should be considered totally at fault and accountable for all that is transpiring - not the critics who are absolutely correct in their criticism'." (Source of Finkelstein's comment not given)
Later on, the USHMM confirmed Roth's appointment. But some days later, he resigned (1st of July). This was a big ZOA victory! "Morton Klein, the president of the Zionist Organization of America, who had researched Roth's writings and labeled some of them objectionable, said the museum would benefit from the decision. 'It protects its sacred purpose of teaching about the uniqueness of the Holocaust and shows the inappropriateness of using loose analogies to other historical events'." (Washington Post, 1st June). John P Fox, (Lecturer in Jewish History and Holocaust and Genocide Studies. University College London) added this: "Morton Klein's statement in today's issue of The Washington Post [...] confirms yet again how the subject of the Nazi persecution and genocide of the Jews has been totally hijacked by several zealots in the United States and elsewhere for purely political and financial reasons. I view with utter disgust and contempt that tendency and this event which devalues to the Nth degree whatever intellectual honesty is supposed to be attached to study and research of this vital subject. I have to say that I witnessed much of the same when I attended the Foreign Office conference in London in December 1997 on Nazi gold. Fortunately 'for posterity', I took extensive notes at that conference of statements in line with those of Mr Klein's of today.
"Speaking as a non-Jew, I am afraid that the many honest Jews are now going to have to put up with the contempt and ridicule of many more non-Jews, in addition to the contempt and ridicule which will be newly generated among convinced anti-Semites and the so-called revisionists, about what Jewish 'morality' or intellectual honesty is or is not supposed to mean. Besides which, with such examples before everyone, how can it be expected that so-called 'research and teaching' on 'the Holocaust' (a term I feel I can no longer honestly employ in my own personal work) can ever be presented to students, researchers, and the general public as an 'honourable' field of endeavour? On the contrary, more and more people will simply see anything connected with that subject as tainted, if not corrupt." (On H-Holocaust, 1st July)
Yes, the "so-called revisionists"
laugh their head off. They find this ploy ridiculous. All these
alleged scholars are fake. We are still waiting for ONE of them
to provide to us and to the rest of the world ONE single convincing
evidence that ONE Jew was gassed to death in ONE gas chamber in
Nazi Germany. Neither Berenbaum nor Roth nor any USHMM official
have been able to provide this very simple, very small piece of
evidence. They are just no good. But their wages are fat, they
exploit the Jewish gullibility in the first place. This explains
that.
